PEM Hydrogen Production

  The monomer of PEM electrolyzed water electrolyzer is composed of membrane electrode, diffusion layer and bipolar plate. Deionized water is introduced into the anode side of membrane electrode. Under the action of anode catalyst, water is decomposed into oxygen and hydrogen protons, which penetrate the membrane electrode and reach the cathode side. Under the action of catalyst, hydrogen protons react with electrons reaching the cathode through an external circuit to generate hydrogen.
   The voltage of each electrolyzer is very low, only 1.5-2.0V, so it is necessary to connect several electrolyzers in series to meet the power supply voltage and power demand.
